Scribbles is a
revolutionary text and code editor. It has a
fresh, contemporary and intuitive interface.
What's more special about this text editor is
that we made a version that you install on your
computer as well as a version that runs in a web
browser in case you are away from your computer
or using a Mac but still want the Scribbles user
interface.
Slick Interface
-
Here at Aways we believe that graphics are
very important and we spend a lot of time
perfecting our user interfaces to allow you to
work more efficiently and enjoy what you are
looking
at. We use simple design that flows well
and gives you lots of room to properly engages
with your content. We build all of our software
using Microsoft Expression Studio to take
advantage of technologies and platforms such as
the Windows Presentation Foundation, .NET
Framework and
Silverlight. Doing this allows us to easily
create stunning applications that will work on
Mac and PC, perfect harmony.
Multi-window
interface - When we were building
Scribbles we decided to make it a multi-window
application. This means that if you are editing
lots of documents you won't have lots of
different open Windows in the taskbar. Instead
the Scribbles application will have all of the
different Windows contained with in it. This
keeps your taskbar clean, tidy and makes it much
easier to switch between documents. This is
particularly useful if you are using the
browser-based Scribbles.
High contrast mode
- If you are working on a poorly lit
environment or working on a computer with a
glossy screen the high contrast mode makes it
easier to see your text or code. You can even
choose from a variety of colours to suit your
personal taste.
Search built in
- The search box located at the bottom of the
application makes it much easier for you to find
words in your text and if you need to make a
reference or look something up on the internet
just type your query into the search box, click
the dropdown arrow icon and select a search
provider of your choice. You can choose from
either Google, Yahoo!, Bing, MSDN search, TGC
Search or Wikipedia search.
We are launching Scribbles on 1st September 2009
so come back and test drive Scribbles. Remember
it's free!
